As I Clean House

As I Clean House

Dear God:
I want to clean the slate. I want to begin anew. I want to let the past be just that, the past. I no longer want to be ruled neither by my errors in judgment nor by another person’s errors in judgment. To do that I must let go and Let You Dear God. Let you heal me. Let you unpry, pry open, my grip onto the memory bank of what was. Let you forgive me. Let you show me how to forgive me. Let you show me how to forgive others. Let you show me the way to health, healing, and happiness. I know this is possible. I know this is doable. Show me God, show me how. Show me how to be willing to go to any lengths to clean house. Show me how to wipe the slate clean. Show me how to be all that you created me to be. Show me how to say I can’t, God can, I let God. And, then, turn it (whatever it is) over to you. Show me how to let your sunlight shine within me—my mind, my soul, my spirit, my heart, every cell in my body, all that I am. I am here Dear God. Grant me the grace to trust you Dear God. Show me Your Way. Show me…your Gifts. You have told me that forgiveness is the Alpha and the Omega of love. Let me embrace your love.
