|It doesn’t happen overnight. To start killing myself all over again does not happen suddenly. Most often, this death is slow and insidious—subtle. I’ll begin to think I don’t have time to stop for prayer, meditation, a meeting, to have coffee with a recovering friend, to take a quiet walk or just sit and enjoy the sunshine or an unhurried sit-down meal. I’ll convince myself, on a daily basis, that the hustle and bustle, the rushing, is a solid indication of the good I’m accomplishing in life.F-E-A-R . . .False Evidence Appearing Real. . .is what happens when we allow fear-based driven behaviors to become the standard, to become our way of life. Why not try something different? Why not try FAITH? Faith in God and faith in yourself.STOP, if only for but a moment. Allow yourself to believe, to have the hope that all will be well. Pray your form of prayer before you create your daily schedule. And, as you record each planned activity, hold hope in your heart. Keep in mind that God is in charge. Tell yourself that Only goodness and mercy shall be part of my day. I can rely on God. I can fully depend on God .Whatever God wants to do through me I have more than enough time to do it. Then, expect good. Assume God has taken care of, and will continue to take care of, everything. Entrust all to God.
Now faith the substance of things hoped for
Accept, the affirmations of the soul. Believe.
Refuse to let your fear be greater than your faith.
